These terms cover the JobScoutar website and its waitlist. JobScoutar is in private testing. Before accounts open we will publish full terms for the app, and you will agree to them when you create an account.
Who we are
JobScoutar ("we", "us") runs jobscoutar.com from Ibadan, Nigeria. JobScoutar is being registered as a company in Nigeria. Write to hello@jobscoutar.com with any question about these terms.
The waitlist
Joining is free and does not commit you to anything. We will email you once, when your account is ready. A place on the waitlist is not a promise of an account by a particular date. You can leave the list at any time by writing to us.
What JobScoutar does, and what it does not
- It finds job postings that others publish, sorts them by where you can work from, and drafts application material from what you tell it. The postings belong to the people who published them, and we do not check that every one is genuine or still open.
- It never applies, submits or sends anything for you. You read every draft and decide what to send, and you are responsible for what you send.
- Scouta, its AI, writes only from your own notes and resume. Read every draft before you use it: you know your career better than any software.
- It does not guarantee interviews, offers or employment.
Prices
Prices shown on the website are not final and may change before launch. Nothing on the website is a binding offer. You will see the final price, in naira or in dollars, before you pay for anything.
Using the website
Use the website lawfully. Do not try to break it, overload it, get around its security, or collect other people's data from it. Do not sign others up to the waitlist without their permission.
Our content
The JobScoutar name, logo, illustrations, screenshots and words on this website belong to JobScoutar. You may link to the website and quote it with credit; ask us before using anything else.
Our responsibility
We provide the website as it is while JobScoutar is in testing. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for loss that comes from relying on a job posting, a draft or the website being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have under Nigerian consumer protection law that cannot be limited.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria decide any dispute about them.
Changes
When these terms change, the date at the top changes too. Your personal data is covered by our privacy policy.
